Stuff

Hmm. Updates. Yes. Updating good. I'm now moved out of Snowdon view and into Sanford, home of the two-headed Jen'n monster, the lizard, greg and sam. Tis good. Not very good for early mornings, as I tend to do the up till 3 chatting thing rather a lot, and when everyone gets depressed at once it's going to be interesting, but nonetheless I like it. Have an appointment with the student counsellors on monday the 6th - hoping to stave off depression before it sets in properly, as I don't particularly want to spend the next 4 months moping in my room. Luke stil wonderful - brought me roses on valentines day, and a romantic dvd (corpse bride :-P) and a pretty glass box, and most importantly, a Luke. Hopefully moving in together next year, with Dave, Greg and the Jen'ns, which'll be interesting. Um... other stuff... Hopefully also going to have a Luke in the evenings, which would be great, and he might even be less stressed. Got 69 and 65 for my portfolios, and the teacher who gave the 65 says she uses 70 as her highest where most teachers use 80, (she only gives 70 if the work is 'fabulous') so it's pretty much equivalent and there's a good chance that it might get marked up by the external board. So doing pretty good on that. No idea what I got in the actual exams yet. Hopefully that's next week. Need to start thinking of ideas for my dissertation. But things are generally pretty good. 20th century lecture in a minute. Can't remember what it's on, so it'll be a nice surprise.

Will hopefully update again in the next few weeks.. depending on whether I remember, and whether anything interesting happens.

So. It's almost christmas, and I've done most of the hectic running around buying stuff thing. Got a really pretty fairy for Jen, and Amy's reaction to her beads was scary :-) Got some pretty cool presents. Jenn's was particularly pretty - silver/crystal dragonfly windchime, makes really beautiful sounds. Also got a boyfriend, which is never a bad thing. Well, sometimes it is. Depends on the people involved, really. Think this one is a good thing. Hopefully...

Going home soon - 23rd to the 27th. Not very long. Partially because I'm working and partially becasue Belfast drives me nuts. The phone bill will be big enough as it is. Not going to London this year. Can't afford it. I'll go later some time.

I have a job. this is a good thing, theoretically, however the fact that it is a soul-stealing sink of banality and depression is less good. Hopefully booklands or someone will have a vacancy soon and I can yoink that instead. I don't believe in dong jobs you don't enjoy for any longer than is neccessarary. make as many areas of your life interesting as possible.

Other than that, my jaw still hurts. Really need to sort that out...

And it's cold. But nonetheless, in a mostly good mood....

Hmm. So, finally I succumb, and the livejournal is born. All hail.

Is that how to spell succumb, or have I spent to much time with the succumbi? Meh. Good word, that.

Have been spending to much time wandering around the internet doing sod all, so figured I may as well get something to do while doing it. And lo my Livejournal is born. DOn't expect many updates, and don't expect them to be interesting. I'll try. No promises...
